Wall panel Ecowall Baffle
EcoWall Baffle is a special wall panel prepared by our architects in collaboration with acousticians. The base of the board is made of 15 mm thick compressed polyester wool. Vertical baffles of equal width, equal spacing but different heights (from 3 to 15 cm) are attached to it. The pattern is chosen to give the impression of a moving wave. The different heights of the baffles absorb sound over a very wide frequency range (from 125 Hz to 10 kHz). The openwork structure creates partitions, into which the sound falls and is trapped. The absorbing surface is therefore much larger here than in the case of traditional acoustic panels (αw ≥ 0,95). This, in turn, translates into much better efficiency with the use of fewer panels on the walls.
