The adhesive cures with moisture (approximately 2–3 mm per 24 hours) and forms a durable, elastic bond. The product contains no acids, solvents, silicone, or isocyanates.
Clear Tack 542 complies with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 regarding materials intended for indirect food contact. It is also certified with the Emicode EC 1PLUS indoor air quality label and can be painted over with most types of paint.
In addition, the product is registered in the Supply Chain Declaration Portal (SCDP) for New Buildings generation 3 and 4.
